President's Message From Christy

I want to take this opportunity to tell our new members, and remind the old, what our objectives are, as outlined in our Bylaws.

“The objective of this organization, in affiliation with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), and the California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW), Southern Division shall be

1. To promote a wider knowledge of the principles and policies of the Republican Party through educational programs.

2. To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.

3. To cooperate with the Republican State and County Central Committees for the election of Republican candidates to office.

4. To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections.

Some of the things we will be doing this year along these lines will be;

• encouraging you to attend Southern Division Meetings where you will hear inspiring speakers and become better informed

• sending you e-mails with TAKE ACTION alerts so you can make your voice heard

• making available some of the latest conservative books at our General Meetings; maybe even a conservative book club if there is enough interest

•involving as many members as possible in on-going voter registration

• encouraging participation in Advocacy Workshop and Lobbying in Sacramento

We will continue to provide scholarships and support for our Troops. We will also continue to support our community, under the NFRW program “Caring for America”. As a political organization, rather than a philanthropic one, our donations are required to be limited, therefore we have budgeted an amount to cover the various requests that we might receive from the community, and will be as generous as possible within that budget. I’m looking forward to a busy year with lots of participation from all of you. See you at the meeting on March 20th…………………….Christi Schneider

As PROUD REPUBLICAN WOMEN we need to be informed about the current issues, candidates and the direction our country is headed. Please SPEAK UP and be heard. It will make a difference one person at a time and one day at a time. Together we can make a difference.

As always we are working hard at Educating our Members, Increasing our Membership, Registering Voters, and Encouraging fellow Republicans to step forward and take a lead in the spirit of togetherness. Make a new commitment to getting involved in Club work. Renew your membership if you have not already done so, and please attend the General Meetings. Join the many women who have the same values and hopes for our Country. Let�s make a difference together.
